This is a Brandnew Samsung SH-D162 iDE DVD-ROM drive (OEM version).
This Drive Will Be Delivered Pre flashed with The kreon firmware Pre Installed.
A standard Samsung SH-D162 Kreon Compatible DVD Rom Drive, it has all the regular functions of a normal DVD Rom Drive, but the Firmware can be changed to the "Kreon Firmware" allowing you to use either Xbox Backup Creator ( see image below ) or Schtrom360Xtract both available for download from our support section.
Using one of these applications will turn the backup process into something as simple as click and burn, so the traditional isobuster ripping method is no longer needed or recommended
For burning, ImgBurn is recommended, but other applications like CloneCD can be used as well.. the KREON'S Firmware is simple to install and it can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
To burn the games you require a DVD Recorder capable of burning DVD+R DL Double Layer recordable discs.
