The D2SUN has always been the most stable and the fastest game loading chip on the market, as it does not need to detect the region or drive type of your wii console. You set these parameters on the mod chip before installation via the onboard dip switches. If you have a PAL console, you simply slide the dip swithes to there relevant positions, no soldering involved what so ever making the d2sun v3.05 a 100% solderless solution, if you have a D2E drive board, This greatly reduces drive lock-up problems and improves multi-region play significantly. No other chip on the market is as stable, quick booting or easier to install than the D2Sun v3.05. It is also a universal modchip that works on all current Wii consoles with the supported use of Solderless Wii-Clips.
As this chip is a Universal mod it works on every drive and every region Wii console currently on the market (as of December 2008). This includes PAL, NTSC and KOREAN regions and DMS, D2A, D2B, D2C, D2C2, D2E
Note:The D2sun v3.05 is not suitable for the new D2E Epoxy covered boards.
The D2sun v3.05 also has a external control board, which means you can enable or disable the D2Sun chip, and can check the D2SUN working status in real time, this is a great solution for people who want to disable there mod chip without the need of opening there wii console .

WARNING
Please make sure your wii serial number is below LEH2682XXXXX if it is above this serial number then the chances are you have the new D3-2 drive and the Drivekey will not function, your only option is to wait for the Wiikey Fusion to be released or swap out your drive to enable your wii to play back up games, if your serial number is lower than the ones listed below you can use the Drivekey with no issues.
