Acekard 2i (also known as AK2i / AK 2i), as a Nintendo DSi - compatible upgrade of Acekard 2 , was first launched in December 2008 as the very first flash card compatible with DSi. It is compatible with DS Lite, DSi and DS consoles. It inherits all the functionalities of Acekard 2, which won the Golden Award on GBATemp.net and 90% on ds-scene.net. 100% game compatibility, skinnable, download-play support, micro SD/SDHC memory card support, very fast loading, Action-Replay cheat support are some of its features. The card is now considered to be one of the best cards on the market, along with the M3 Real . Acekard 2 D
The very first DSi flash card is here, the AceKard 2i brings homebrew to the latest edition to the DS family the DSi. We think everyone was surprised at how fast the team was able to make a flash card that was supported by the DSi, so we think it won’t be to long before we see other great DSi flash cards for these latest consoles as well. The good news about it being this team that have managed to get their card working first is that AK has always been a terrific product, the menu interface, compatibility have always been up there with the best cards such as Supercard & CycloDS, the only thing AceKard 2 i DSi flash card is missing is the real time save function, but really that is all that separates the AceKard DSi from being in the same category as those other two cards. If you have already bought yourself a DSi and want to get your homebrew apps such as MoonShell and the host of others working, the AceKard 2i will be the one for you, it has the same great compatibility as the original v2.1 cards but will work 100% these latest DSi consoles.

The menu interface for the AceKard DSi flash card is extremely user friendly, there is no getting lost in menus with too many settings to play with that could cause confusion, the card is setup in such a way that it’s perfect for kids as young as 5 years old to adults. All the great features you have come to know and love from the v2.1 can be found in the AceKard 2i DSi flash card, the rom trimmer is still a favourite of ours and really does save valuable space on your MircoSD cards. Another benefit to buying these cards is that you can count on the team to release firmware updates regularly, why this is important when buying any card for your DSi is that if there is ever a bug found in the software or a compatibility issue, you can rely on the fact that the team will address the issue in a firmware update for the card, as we have seen happen with some of the other cards on the market, R4 being a perfect example, the team disappears for whatever reason and people that have bought one of those cards are left with a firmware that will eventually develop issues with newer homebrew software and there is no team to create new firmware or updates to address the problem, so you can be assured when buying the AceKard 2i that this won’t ever happen as they are one of the oldest teams in the industry alongside great teams such as the Supercard team, so you can feel confidant when buying the AceKard 2 i that the team will be around for years to come supporting their great product with regular firmware updates.
The AceKard 2i DSi supports MicroSD & MicroSDHC cards, you can use cards as big as 16GB and even when 32GB cards are released it will have support for them as well,
